Beatmistresscait is one of the most prolific Artist on the Devotions Recording
Label, with over 200 songs she consistently puts out stunning
Soundtrack-Dance and Jazz work. Cait is a sheer inspiration to Striking Concept Films and
Knight Productions - Social Concerns Films. Her perfect Sounds come from her studio in Ireland and her Production base is Ableton. With a huge Sound Library Beatmistresscait traverses through her Ableton, to consistently and professionally mix her world of perfect pitch, sound, and music. When Striking Concept Films-Video reaches out to other high level Independent Film Makers like FEED THE FIRE FILMS or The Heretic- Snordelhans to ask them to share their footage clips, we want only the best Music and Production of that Music to lead the story in our Short Films. There is so much going on in the world today, that even Striking Concept Films-Video is concerned. Jodie and I took a break from making advertising Videos for Devotions Recording and decided to share this Short Film with Beatmistresscait's song entitled:

Ryo Utasato and Shade Law The Magic Behind Their Album
Ryo’s Home Studio is a perfect balance between technical and
actual instrumentation. While Shade remains high tech in programming with
Native Instruments, Sony Acid 5, and Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD. Both Artists
however, do come together in harmony with Shade’s intensity and Ryo’s depth of
soul; they end up making a fantastic Soundtrack collaboration. In their own individual rights, they both are consummate
professionals and hail from the Motion Picture Industry.
Ryo Utasato is a composer,
singer and writer. Ryo began listening to the music of her father's classical
guitar, and her mother's folk singing along with the samisen from the age of 3.
Her grandfather is half Japanese Ainu and at the age of 14 Ryo started singing
in a rock band and by 18 she was singing professionally with a foreign artist
and appearing on Japanese TV. At 28 her career expanded to include composing
music for film and television, such as the theme for World Heritage, and
others. Her original soundtracks have been used in sci-fi, historical, drama,
horror and action films & TV. As a singer, her style is best identified
with world music, ethnic singing, and ancient singing of Japan, healing new age, pop and
rock. She respects the history and culture of all races on this earth which is
deeply expressed in her music.
Shade Law is brand new to
the Internet Music scene; she basically started to write Music because of You
Tube's rules and regulations about Music with Video. Not really understanding
why certain Music could not be used.... a good friend of hers suggested that
she writes her own. Hence Shade started her own adventure at Reverbnation with her
trusted band members, "MAGIX16 AND ACID5, "Cakewalk," Samplitude
Silver Soundcloud Edition, and Native Instruments, just joined her team of
technology. Shade now enjoys her own Music with the Films and Videos she
creates with her Film-Video Partner at Striking Concept Films-Video and her own
Film Company Knight Productions [a Social Concern Film Company,] as well. Anything to not get into trouble at You Tube LOL.
Now, being retired from Warner Brothers Studios… Shade
focuses on not only writing music through technology but once she started
Devotions Recording; Shade now wishes to enhance her Artists through Film and
Videos. Ever mindful of what works in Film [which is her Labels chief concern]
she presses ever forward to hit that pentacle of quality which could open the
doors to Games and Films. “If you can make it in Film, you can make it
anywhere,” is what her old Teacher and Boss Larry Lashanski always taught her,
and her mind cannot be shifted from that lesson. Film is the pentacle; all
other modems are just that, other avenues. Because the standard of Gaming is
now equal to Films [because of Adobe After Effects] it is a Market that she
studies for the potential of her Artists and herself to enter.
Ryo and Shade met at
Reverbnation and started a deep friendship as they enjoyed each others work,
Shade asked Ryo if she could do a Video for one of her works, and from there
they began to work on "East Meets West," it was Ryo who then
suggested after the completion of the song "East Meets West" that they
do an entire Album. Hence "East Meets West the Album" came about.
Produced at two ends of the World LUNE Muzik.JP where Ryo resides and Devotions
Recording in the US
where Shade resides. Two worlds, many experiences, enjoy “East Meets West theAlbum." "Thank You For Your Kind Support and Purchase of our Digital
Download."
